At Westhope Care we consider it paramount that service users and tenants enjoy as full and interesting a life as possible and that, subject to their individual choices, they participate in the local community to the fullest extent.
We therefore employ a full time Activities Coordinator who, in conjunction with advocates, parents and other stakeholders, will design an implement a range of activities that aid day to day enjoyment and promote further independence.
We have close links with the local Horsham community that offers a range of activities such as swimming, tennis, bowling, the museum and the cinema and registered day centres and colleges.
In addition day trips are organised to Warnham wildlife sanctuary, Southwater Country Park, Tilgate Park, Arundel Castle, Littlehampton and the South Coast. Transport is provided in our fleet of wheelchair accessible vehicles and staff are rostered to accompany service users according to their risk-assessed needs.
