Supported Living
The Westhope Care Ltd Supported Living service aims to provide 24 hour support and housing to adults with learning and physical disabilities, offering them a good opportunity to live as independently as possible in a safe and secure environment.
We aim to maximize the individual’s capacity for independence and our main objective, is to enable the tenants to live within a valued community and supported to undertake tasks that promote full valued social inclusion.
Westhope Care adopts the Reach Standards whereby the individual has choice about who supports him/her, when that support is given, where he/she lives, support as to who is chosen to live with and be friends with and also to be healthy and safe and to have the same rights/ responsibilities as other citizens.
Independent Living
Westhope Place has four purpose built flats for adults with learning / physical disabilities. Three are on the ground floor catering for those with associated physical disabilities and one at first floor level. They each comprise of 1 double bedroom, lounge, kitchen and bathroom.
These independent flats will enable Service Users to have quality accommodation and the support to make a success of living independently, to live safely and make choices and have control over their own lives. We offer 24 hour ‘back up’ or a flexible ‘drop - in service’ for those individuals requiring support at certain times of the day
